Episode 8
This episode covers Blooms walk from the offices of the Freeman’s
Journal to the National Library. He travels south across the River
Liffey and has lunch at Davy Byrne's. A glass of burgundy wine and some
gorgonzola cheese that Bloom consumes stirs up a memory of the day he
first made love to Molly on Howth Head. To avoid Blazes Boylan, Molly’s
current paramour, Bloom veers away from the National Library and heads
instead for the National Museum. The time is 1:00 - 2:05 p.m.
