Galerie Corray / Galerie Dada. The first Dada exhibition took place in the Corray Gallery (in the Sprunglihaus) in January 1917 with lectures and speeches. In mid-March Hugo Ball and Tristan Tzara took over the gallery from Han Corray and renamed it the Dada Gallery. It was the location of the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th Dada-Soireés. Growing conflicts between Ball an Tzara resulted in the stagnation of its activities. > photo 2010 |
